Our Purpose

A long-term vision, adapted to today

Boukra Nour was originally designed to combine awareness, knowledge-building, and technology-driven solutions to strengthen Lebanon’s social care and education sectors. While the long-term vision for a full digital ecosystem remains unchanged, the current national context has required a shift in priorities.

Responding to the crisis

Accessible learning & direct support for the Lebanese community

Due to the ongoing crisis in Lebanon, the technology expansion phase has been temporarily adjourned in order to focus on more immediate needs on the ground. Resources are now directed toward accessible learning and direct support for the Lebanese community.

Today, our focus is on strengthening social care professionals through:

  • E-learning
  • Webinars
  • Conferences
  • Public awareness initiatives

Why This Matters

From a fragmented sector to a unified profession

01 · The Gap

What Lebanon lacks today

  • Lebanon currently lacks a unified pathway to becoming a social care practitioner, with limited specialized diplomas, certifications or standardized training opportunities.
  • There is also no nationally adopted benchmark for ongoing learning and professional competency development, resulting in inconsistent standards across the sector.
02 · Our Opportunity

What we can build

  • Establish a unified professional pathway for social care practitioners
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development
  • Promote consistent evidence-based knowledge
  • Strengthen standards of care and service quality
03 · Intended Impact

What changes

  • Stronger professional recognition and accountability
  • Stronger institutions
  • Improved support for vulnerable communities

Together, we strive to make for a better tomorrow.
